The DOTr-MRT3 invites qualified applicants for the following vacant positions:

  1. Chief Administrative Officer (Financial and Management Officer II), Salary Grade 24, Permanent, Finance and Comptrollership Division

Qualifications

Education : Masteral Degree

Experience : Four (4) years in position/s involving management and supervision

Training : Forty (40) hours of supervisory/management learning and development

Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises proper and adequate budgeting, accounting, reporting and keeping of accounts covering all financial transactions of the office;
  2. Supervises the activities of the Treasury Section;
  3. Gives technical advise on financial matters;
  4. Observes and ascertains that existing budgeting, accounting and auditing rules and regulations are followed on all financial transactions of the office;
  5. Certifies to the correctness of journal vouchers, journal bills, trial balances, statement of accounts, budget estimates or other financial statements and records;
  6. Reviews and certifies as to the correctness and propriety of vouchers, journals, bills, financial statements and other fiscal reports;
  7. Coordinates accounting activities with other operating agencies and competent authorities;
  8. and
  9. Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.

  3. Photocopy of Authenticated CSC Eligibility/BAR or Board Rating/License, if applicable
  4. Photocopy of Authenticated Transcript of Records and Diploma
  5. Photocopy of Certificates of Relevant Training/Seminars attended
  6. Photocopy of Service Records/Certificate of Employment
  7. Photocopy of Performance rating in the last rating period, if applicable
  8. Other documents that may be required by this Office

Applications with incomplete documents and submitted beyond the set deadline shall automatically disqualify the applicant in the selection process. Applications will be considered valid for a period of 1 year. Only applicants who are shortlisted will be contacted.
