The MRT-3 has begun deploying three 4-car trains Saturday, October 18, as part of its efforts to improve passenger convenience, extending the deployment of said trains to weekends as well.

This comes after the successful deployment of six 4-car trains yesterday, in line with the directive of Transportation Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez.

The 4-car trains can accommodate more passengers per trip than the standard 3-car trains, making them an effective measure to increase capacity and shorten passenger buildup in stations.
